Terms of Service

The operating terms behind the studio, the site, and the services.

This page now follows the same editorial system as the rest of the site: cleaner hierarchy, easier scanning, and the legal language arranged in sections that can actually be read.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE DATE OF THE CLAIM.

Terms

Indemnification, Governing Law, and Termination

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Semantic Notion, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of your violation of these Terms, your user content, your use of the Services, or your violation of another party’s rights.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them will be governed by the laws applicable in the relevant operating jurisdiction of Semantic Notion, without regard to conflict of law principles. Before initiating formal legal action, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
